Could all three Watt brothers soon be teammates on the Pittsburgh Steelers?

The Houston Texans have released J.J. Watt after the three-time Defensive Player of the Year requested his release. The move comes as a shock because even though it was anticipated Watt’s time with the Texans was coming to an end, it’s surprising they didn’t get anything for him in a trade.

While the trade market could have been limited because of teams being hesitant to give up high picks for the 10-year veteran, he will now have interest from around the NFL.

And the team with the best chance at signing the former Wisconsin star is none other than the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It’s a perfect fit and would double as a family reunion.

Brothers T.J. Watt and Derek Watt are already on the Steelers and J.J. is the classic Steelers type of defensive lineman who would fit in perfectly with the organization, even if his brothers weren’t already on the roster.

Watt can play in an even or odd front and can be the perfect complement to T.J. on the other side to give fits to opposing offensive linemen and cause sleepless nights for opposing quarterbacks.

The Watt parents would love it too because then they would only have to worry about watching and/or traveling to one game each week instead of multiple.

T.J. is already publicly campaigning for his big bro to join in him the Steel City with the perfect gif to accompany his tweet.

The Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Seattle Seahawks and a host of other teams make sense for the future Hall of Famer, but it would be a significant upset if Watt isn’t a member of the Steelers next season.
