1. Allen Robinson

Robinson could be the best wide receiver poised to change teams this offseason. He was criminally underutilized in Chicago and seems determined to find a team better positioned to take advantage of his prodigious talents.

There’s no question he could help Baltimore in 2021. The issue here is that Robinson isn’t the best kind of receiver to maximize the Ravens’ passing game. He’s too similar to Brown to justify the massive cost of signing him in free agency.

If the Ravens are going to spend big money on a receiver, they should try to spend it on a playmaker who is drastically different than what Brown already provides. A big, physical wideout like Kenny Golladay would be ideal. Corey Davis could also be a nice fit at a lower price point.

The most likely outcome for Robinson in free agency is to land on a team willing to overpay him due to being completely bereft of talent at the position. The Ravens should not get drawn into that sort of bidding war. Robinson is a really good player, but Baltimore isn’t the right team to give him the sort of lucrative deal he’ll be asking for this offseason.
