The Browns are all-in on J.J. Watt, and the feeling might be mutual.

Watt is reportedly considering Cleveland, the first major free agent to do so in quite some time. That’s because the Browns are winning. The expectation by most pundits is that their winning ways won’t end for awhile thanks to Kevin Stefanski and the Cleveland front office.

The Browns offer Watt the opportunity to play opposite of Myles Garrett and get paid handsomely to do it. Cleveland’s cap situation is fluid, unlike the likes of Pittsburgh and Green Bay — two other potential Watt suitors. It’s arguably the perfect landing spot for Watt, should he not have any other motivation.

Browns shooting their shot with Watt

Browns linebacker Mack Wilson did his best to get Watt’s attention by tweeting out a graphic by Codey Dauch (@codeydraws) of the former Texans standout in a Browns uniform.

Watt could also go to Green Bay because of his emotional attachment to Wisconsin. The 31-year-old, of course, was a Badger. The Steelers also loom as a target, as they can offer Watt the chance to play with both of his brothers, T.J. Watt and Derek Watt, who are employed by the Rooney family.

All are fair options, and you can throw in the Bucs and Chiefs if Watt is willing to take a major discount on a short-term deal to chase a Super Bowl.

Yet, it’s the Browns that have garnered the most attention lately, only because they weren’t initially deemed a likely location. This isn’t to say they don’t have Watt’s attention, and with that in mind every tweet from Browns playmakers helps.

Next. J.J. Watt is seriously considering the Browns. dark
