AL. player. 1.. 135. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. West. Houston Astros

The Houston Astros are the most ideal landing spot for Bradley.

Last regular season, the Astros underperformed drastically, where they managed to clinch the seventh-seed in the AL. Once the postseason began, the Astros were a complete thorn in the side of the Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics, both of whom were eliminated. Additionally, the Astros were a Game 7 of the ALCS win away from reaching the World Series for the third time in four years. But they fell just short to the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Astros enter this season looking to build upon their unexpected deep playoff run. The biggest hit they took this offseason was losing Springer to the Blue Jays, but his departure was expected this winter. Houston did dodge a bullet by keeping Michael Brantley on a two-year deal after reports indicated that he could join Springer in Toronto.

Houston has to fill the void left by Springer. This is no knock on Myles Straw, but the Astros are a team that needs to sign a big name. They just have to. Given Bradley’s perfect 1.000 fielding percentage in center field last season, he’d be the perfect replacement for Springer.
