52. Pick Analysis. AFC South. (No. 25). player. Scouting Report. Jacksonville Jaguars. 2

Take the Jalen Ramsey compensation and get yourself a defensive superstar

The Jacksonville Jaguars can go in several different directions with their No. 25 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. We all know they are taking quarterback Trevor Lawrence out of Clemson at No. 1 overall, but with their second first-round pick, the one they got from the Los Angeles Rams in the Jalen Ramsey deal two seasons ago, they should look to add another defensive superstar here.

We are a long time removed from Sacksonville. Nearly all the defensive studs from that incredible defense are now playing elsewhere. Fortunately for the Jaguars, they can get an undervalued pass rusher in Ojulari as a means to offset losing Yannick Ngakoue or Calais Campbell in some way. Pairing Ojulari with Josh Allen could make for one incredible pass-rushing tandem down in Duval.

Ultimately, this would be a way for the Jaguars to get two Pro Bowl-level talents in the same first round. They are expecting Lawrence to be the best quarterback in franchise history. By adding Ojulari in the back-end of the first round, they would hope to land one of the better defensive talents the franchise has ever seen. With this being the Ramsey pick, it makes sense to do this.

AFC South. Tennessee Titans. 1. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. (No. 22). 35

Here is how to fix a glaring hole from a season ago

While they may have been knocked down a peg in the division by the Indianapolis Colts trading for Carson Wentz, the Tennessee Titans should be a playoff contender yet again in 2021. Though the Titans may be reluctant to draft another Georgia player with their first-round pick, given the unmitigated disaster that has been offensive tackle, Isaiah Wilson, they really need a pass rusher.

This was Tennessee’s glaring weakness a season ago. If they had any semblance of a pass rusher, the Titans could have made it back to the AFC Championship game. Simply put, anything they do this offseason to address this weakness will be better than what they did a season ago in free agency by signing Vic Beasley and Jadeveon Clowney for millions of dollars to garner zero sacks.

In short, Ojulari suffices a primary need for the Titans at No. 22 and would be coming off the board right around that time. He checks the box of both a need and best player available for them. While he will not be the next Jevon Kearse in Nashville, Ojulari has the talent and has demonstrated the production necessary to know he will make big-time plays at the NFL level.

Overall, Ojulari will be a mid-to-late first-round pick this season. This may not be a great pass-rushing class, but need, productivity and upside will ensure us that he will be a top-32 selection this spring. While every AFC South team could use him, it is interesting that most of the teams who could be in line to pick him all play in the same conference. Look for him to star on CBS then.

What NFL teams should look at drafting Ojulari out of Georgia in the back half of round one?
