Safety. Pittsburgh. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Paris Ford. 74. player. 58

Landon Collins is a star at his free safety spot in Washington, but Rivera’s defense could use an upgrade on the strong side. Ford is a high-level athlete who has a chance to grow into an above-average starter if an NFL coaching staff can unlock his full potential.

Ford’s a very aggressive player in the secondary who isn’t afraid to throw his body on the line to stop opposing ball carriers. The problem is that he sometimes gets way out of position. If Washington can help the mental aspect of his game improve, they could have a potential star on their hands.

player. Tight end. Miami. Brevin Jordan. 83. 58. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis

Washington needs to add more dynamic weapons to their offense. Jordan isn’t going to make an immediate impact as an in-line tight end at the next level, but he can give a professional offense a valuable upgrade in terms of speed and athleticism on the edge.

Jordan isn’t going to be ready to take Logan Thomas’ starting spot as a rookie, but he can make an impact on obvious passing downs as a flex option for the team’s offensive coaching staff. The former Miami star needs refinement as a route-runner, but he’ll be a match-up nightmare for linebackers and safeties right away.
