Green Bay Packers mock draft – Fifth Round

Scouting Report. LB. Northwestern. Paddy Fisher. player. Pick Analysis. 5th. 49

The Packers usually don’t spend premium draft capital at linebacker so it wouldn’t be surprising to see them wait until Day 3 to address this need. There is some sneaky value here with Fisher, a one-time can’t miss prospect who saw his stock tumble after a miserable 2019 campaign.

2020 was a mixed bag for Fisher, who was better but still has issues with range and tackling. If the Green Bay coaching staff can harness the potential Fisher displayed early in his college career they could have a steal here.

Green Bay Packers mock draft – Sixth Round

S. Illinois State. Christian Uphoff. Pick Analysis. player. 49. Scouting Report. 6th

A depth safety who can play special teams, Uphoff turned heads with a strong showing at the Senior Bowl. Uphoff didn’t get to play in 2020 due to the pandemic but he should be an immediate contributor for the Packers.

Green Bay Packers mock draft – Seventh Round

Pick Analysis. Kylin Hill. player. Scouting Report. RB. Mississippi State. 7th. 49

With Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams entering free agency it would be smart for Green Bay to use its last pick to add some depth to the backfield. Hill offers a power-running component that could make him a suitable fit for short yardage and goal line work in the Packers’ offense.
