Pick Analysis. OC . Green Bay Packers. 4. player. 49. Scouting Report. Corey Linsley

Centers usually won’t be a significant name on the open market. Then again, there a few centers that have been as productive as Corey Linsley over the past two seasons. Good things he’s entering free agency as the top name at the role and one of the best lineman from the class.

Linsley’s All-Pro season was based on domination upfront. He was outstanding in pass protection this year, allowing just four pressures on 437 pass rush attempts, according to Pro Football Focus. The Packers also were one of the more balanced teams thanks to a serviceable run game.

Aaron Jones should be thanking the 29-year-old for his big payday as well.

In 734 snaps, Linsley allowed one sack. He also wasn’t penalized all season, meaning his footwork, hand placement and overall demeanor allowed him to help Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense thrive. Any quarterback would be lucky to work with one of the game’s best hiking him the ball.

And for the right price, they will next season.
