player. 35. . Defensive Tackle. Tennessee Titans. Christian Barmore. 22

The Tennessee Titans have to do something to improve the defense this offseason, as it was arguably the worst unit to make the playoffs in 2020. With pick No. 22 overall, the Titans decide to bring in arguably the best defensive tackle in this draft class, adding Christian Barmore from Alabama.

Sure, the Titans need playmakers on both sides of the ball, but Barmore would be an excellent addition alongside Jeffrey Simmons upfront along this defensive line. Mike Vrabel was a solid defensive player during his playing days, and having such a horrid defense has to be killing him on the inside.

30. . Running Back. New York Jets. Najee Harris. 23. player

At pick No. 23 overall, the New York Jets make their second selection of this first round, this time bringing in the best running back available. By picking Najee Harris from Alabama, the Jets have now revamped the quarterback room and added a true RB1, something they were missing with Frank Gore leading the way in 2020.

In Harris, Zach Wilson gets the kind of playmaking running back this team is missing, as he can get the job done on the ground, and through the air in the passing game. The Jets have to come up with a new identity heading into next season, and the duo of Wilson and Harris help them do that in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.

Jalen Mayfield. 24. player. 55. . Offensive Tackle. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers have not committed to Ben Roethlisberger for the 2021 NFL season, so they could certainly be in the market for a quarterback this offseason. If Big Ben does stay, they need to do something up front along the offensive line, as they could be losing a lot of talent to free agency, and they already lost their center to retirement.

With pick No. 24 overall, the Steelers add to the offensive tackle room, bringing in an absolute mauler in Jalen Mayfield from Michigan. This is a guy who could take over right away on the left side at the next level, and keeping Big Ben upright has to be the priority for this team if he does come back in 2021.
