2. Matt Feiler

Feiler certainly isn’t the biggest name free agent to be leaving the Steelers this offseason, but he’s going to draw interest from a ton of teams around the NFL. The Vikings might not be able to afford his price tag in the end, but they need to make an offer to find out for certain.

Feiler doesn’t profile as a star, but he’s already shown the ability to be an above-average starter at both right tackle and left guard during his Pittsburgh career. That kind of versatility could be hugely valuable for a Minnesota offensive line that’s still very much in flux.

The easiest way to slot him into the mix for the Vikings is to allow him to replace Dakota Dozier at left guard. He could also potentially find a home at right guard if Minnesota tries to kick Ezra Cleveland back out to the perimeter in his second season.

Feiler should be looking for a guaranteed starting spot in free agency and the Vikings can certainly offer him that kind of certainty. He’s a better player than the aforementioned Feliciano and he can play more positions. Add it all up and it’s obvious Minnesota should make him a priority the moment free agency begins.
