Najee Harris 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 2: Arizona Cardinals

In the first season that the Arizona Cardinals had Kenyan Drake in the offense, the former Alabama football running back thrived and looked to be on track to stardom. But this past season, it’s not a stretch to say that Drake wasn’t even the best back on the team’s roster.

Now the Cardinals face a tough decision regarding the future of Drake and whether or not he fits into their long-term plans. If he doesn’t, then they need someone who can come in immediately and work with Chase Edmonds and Kyler Murray for the future.

Najee Harris could be that player. While he’s not a true speed back, he has the juice to play in the high-powered offense and can be a multi-faceted weapon that fits into what Kliff Kingsbury likes to do. Overall, he’d help continue to build this offense.

Najee Harris 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 1: Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins offense saw its share of ups and downs last season as they played musical quarterbacks with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tua Tagovailoa. But while the passing offense flashed, the rushing attack was not something that they could consistently rely upon.

To be sure, they have improved in this aspect but they lack any type of real pop in that area of the offense. Subsequently, they need someone who can be an every-down player that can break open big plays while also moving the chains.

That description fits Najee Harris perfectly and is a primary reason why the Dolphins should be in on the Alabama football star. Pairing him with Tua once again would give the Miami attack a big boost and, overall, improve the team as they look to make a serious playoff push for many years to come.
