Tennessee Titans. Gregory Rousseau. 22. player. 35. . Edge

Despite having one of the worst defenses in football this past season, the Tennessee Titans made it back to the playoffs, one year after reaching the AFC title game. Unfortunately, their run did not last as long as it did the year before, and this offseason, bolstering their defense could be the difference in them being a real Super Bowl threat.

At pick No. 22, the Titans look to add talent to the edge, adding University of Miami edge rusher Gregory Rousseau. This is a player who has everything you look for in a dynamic playmaker at the next level, and this Titans defense could certainly use at least a few of them this offseason.

Edge. New York Jets. Jaelan Phillips. 23. player. 30.

With their second of two first-round picks in the 2021 NFL Draft, the New York Jets decide to turn their focus to the defensive side of the ball. After selecting Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith at No. 2 overall, they bring in an edge rusher here at No. 23 overall, selecting Jaelan Phillips, who is picked one spot after teammate Gregory Rousseau.

In Phillips, the Jets get some much-needed edge rusher talent, something that really hindered their defense last season. New head coach Robert Saleh is going to want to make an impact in Year 1 in New York, and he does so by hitting a home run with these two first-round draft picks.

player. 55. . Running Back. Pittsburgh Steelers. Najee Harris. 24

With pick No. 24 overall, the Pittsburgh Steelers go out and get a dynamic running back in Alabama star Najee Harris. This is a player who can score from all over the field, and in Pittsburgh, he would be a security blanket for Ben Roethlisberger, who apparently is going to be back for another go-around this season.

Harris would be a perfect fit in Pittsburgh, as he would serve in the same role that Le’Veon Bell did for Mike Tomlin, being a playmaker in the run and passing game. The Steelers have some real cap issues heading into this offseason, and if Big Ben can help them out, that would go a long way in the team getting enough talent around him to make a final Super Bowl run.
