1. Corey Davis

Davis was on a draft bust track in his first four seasons, if he wasn’t all the way there after being taken fifth overall in 2017. Having to catch passes from Marcus Mariota would do that to almost anyone though. A full season with Ryan Tannehill under center for the Titans in 2020 yielded 65 catches (tied for career-high) with a career-high 984 yards and five touchdowns.

If not for two missed games on the COVID-19 list as Tennessee deal with an issue, and two games where he was shut out (one against the Bears, for what it’s worth), Davis would have easily topped 1,000 yards and pushed toward 80 catches last season. Fantasy owners would took a flier on him surely wonder what could have been over 16 games.

Davis, as may be obvious, is a free agent. Spotrac has tabbed his market value at a reasonable $9.8 million per year, on a prescribed four-year deal. That should put him right in the Bears’ free agency wheelhouse, assuming they let Robinson go free (or tag and trade him).

Their upcoming move for a quarterback will say a lot about the appeal of the Bears to any free agent wide receiver, even if it’s not a big move for Deshaun Watson or Russell Wilson. Depending on what else he finds on the market, Davis should find the opportunity to be a clear No. 1 appealing.

If money is fairly close and the quarterback isn’t going to be Nick Foles, Davis could sign with the Bears fairly quickly if they’re diving into options to replace Robinson.
