2021 NFL Draft: Seattle Seahawks 7-round mock
Size: 6-foot, 191 pounds
2020 stats: 33 total tackles, four pass breakups, one fumble recovery
The Seahawks’ secondary, in a division that now features quarterbacks Matthew Stafford and Kyler Murray, offered little resemblance to its Legion of Boom glory days last season, finishing as PFF’s 24th-ranked group in the league.
Expect cornerback to be a top target for the Seahawks both during free agency as well as the NFL Draft.
Florida’s Marco Wilson is a standout both in coverage where he flashes tremendous instincts and closing speed to the point of attack, but also as a blitzer off the edge. Not afraid to drop the hammer on a big hit, Wilson would be an ideal fit as an NFL nickel cornerback where he can body up against more physical receivers and get after the passer on corner blitz packages.
