1. Corey Linsley

This is one likely veteran departure that has a chance to really hurt the Packers’ Super Bowl chances in 2021. Center may not be the most valuable position in the NFL, but Linsley deserved his All-Pro selection this season. If Green Bay can’t bring him back on a long-term deal they need to find a high-quality replacement in the draft.

Unfortunately for the Packers, there doesn’t appear to be a center in this year’s draft class that deserves to be selected in Round 1. Green Bay should focus on adding an instant impact at wide receiver on Day One before circling back to grab a new starting center on Day 2.

Creed Humphrey should be a serious contender for the Packers’ second-round selection. He’ll need a little time to adjust to a more pro-style offense than he worked under at Oklahoma, but he’s got the right combination of size and speed to become an above-average starter in the NFL. If Green Bay chooses to go with more of a tactician at the position then Boston College star Alex Lindstrom could be there for the taking on Day 3.

This isn’t a spot where the Packers can afford to gamble. Protecting Aaron Rodgers is a huge priority for the team moving forward. He cannot thrive if pressure is allowed to torment him from the interior. Nailing the pick for Linsley’s replacement might be Green Bay’s biggest offseason challenge.
