Ja’Marr Chase 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 2: Miami Dolphins

Another team that goes into the 2021 offseason with some quarterback questions, the situation is a bit different for the Miami Dolphins as they have a high first-round pick at the position in Tua Tagovailoa who still has plenty of upside. The question, though, is if they will stay the course or go all-out with a Deshaun Watson trade.

No matter who lines up under center for the Dolphins next season, the pass-catching group needs to be upgraded. DeVante Parker has finally emerged as a quality weapon and there are nice role players around him. But there isn’t a versatile and bonafide No. 1 option on the roster.

Chase could undoubtedly be that. Not only would he give Tagovailoa or Watson an oft-open option at all levels of the field but his ability to attack on multiple levels would open up the field for the likes of Parker and Jakeem Grant. Adding the LSU football star would, simply, make the offense substantially more potent.

Ja’Marr Chase 2021 NFL Draft landing spot No. 1: Philadelphia Eagles

With how the 2020 season transpired and the immediate aftermath as well, it felt inevitable that the Philadelphia Eagles would eventually trade Carson Wentz. Now that he’s in Indianapolis, it could very well be Jalen Hurts’ team — though the Eagles have spoken of bringing in competition for the second-year quarterback.

Regardless of who you believe should be the starting quarterback in Philadelphia, though, they need someone to throw to. Wide receiver has been a massive problem area for the Eagles in recent years and, unless Jalen Reagor makes a huge leap in year two, that remains.

Selecting Chase with the No. 6 overall pick would make a ton of sense for the Eagles due to exactly that. The LSU product could be the target hog and passing game threat that they’ve been lacking, a player who can contribute to the aerial assault in any situation.
