Bills mock draft, Teven Jenkins
STILLWATER, OK – NOVEMBER 17: Offensive lineman Teven Jenkins #73 and tight end Baron Odom #86 of the Oklahoma State Cowboys run onto the field for a game against the West Virginia Mountaineers on November 17, 2018 at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma. 4. Teven Jenkins

The Bills stand to lose last year’s starting right tackle Daryl Williams in free agency. Drafting Jenkins in Round 1 would allow Buffalo to plug that hole without a second thought.

Jenkins lacks the ideal mobility to thrive on the perimeter which means he can only play as a right tackle. Moving him inside to guard long-term is much more palatable than trying to deploy him on the left side of the formation.

The former Oklahoma State standout makes up for his lack of athleticism with power. He’s got a real mean streak that makes him a punishing run blocker. That quality should pop on film for Buffalo’s offensive coaching staff.

The Bills need to add some nastiness to their offensive line and that’s what Jenkins can bring to the table. He doesn’t have tremendous upside, but he should be a quality starter in short order. That’s important for a team like Buffalo as they look to fill an obvious need in Round 1.
