EDGE. Ohio State. Jonathon Cooper. 156. Scouting Report. player. 812. Pick Analysis

The Niners have already had substantial success with one Ohio State edge rusher, and Cooper made a convincing case for them adding him to their roster at the Senior Bowl. Cooper comes off the snap with tremendous burst, can convert speed to power and has a seemingly innate ability to win to the inside.

Pick Analysis. RB. player. 832. Scouting Report. Oregon State. Jermar Jefferson. 173

With the Jerick McKinnon experiment set to come to an end, Jefferson can step right in and fill the void, adding more speed to a San Francisco run game that is already blessed with plenty of it in the form of Raheem Mostert.

Scouting Report. Drake Jackson. 182. player. Pick Analysis. IOL. Kentucky. 833

More interior offensive line depth and another Kentucky prospect in the form of Jackson, who offers center-guard versatility and excelled in pass protection against Marvin Wilson at the Senior Bowl.

Pick Analysis. Western Michigan. Jaylon Moore. player. 405. Scouting Report. OT. 196

Experienced and athletic with impressive movement skills. Moore is a strong fit for a zone-blocking scheme and would provide San Francisco with a developmental backup who could put pressure on right tackle Mike McGlinchey should he continue to struggle.

Khyiris Tonga. 224. 861. Scouting Report. DL. BYU. player. Pick Analysis

San Francisco could lose D.J. Jones in free agency. Should that happen, the Niners will need to beef up the interior of the defensive line with a run-stopper who can play the 1 technique. Tonga fits the bill.

QB. SMU. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Shane Buechele. 234. 884

The Niners might not be drafting a Garoppolo replacement, but Buechele is a potential backup who fits an offense in which timing is critical.
