NBA All-Star Weekend is here and that means fans were treated to quite the showing in the 2021 skills challenge.

There’s nothing quite like NBA All-Star Weekend. The best basketball players put on a show under the bright lights, and you already know that’s the case for the NBA Skills Challenge. The highly-entertaining event took place on Sunday night, with Indiana Pacers big man Domantas Sabonis coming out on top.

From start to finish, Sabonis was absolutely sensational and ended up taking down Nikola Vucevic of the Orlando Magic in the final round to capture the championship. While Sabonis wasn’t considered the favorite entering things on Sunday, he simply would not be denied.

Things got started with Julius Randle taking on Sabonis, with the Pacers playmaker coming out on top. After that, we saw Vucevic take down Robert Covington. In the second round, Sabonis took on Luka Doncic and had no issues whatsoever downing the Dallas Mavericks standout to book his trip to the finals.

Vucevic then stunned Chris Paul to set up the unexpected title showdown between him and Sabonis. In the end, though, Sabonis won a thriller, taking home the trophy. He and Vucevic were both there at the 3-point line ready to win it, but Sabonis, who was the runner-up last year, knocked down the big shot and was able to take home the hardware.
