The Golden State Warriors are reportedly interested in pursuing two-time NBA All-Star and Houston Rockets guard Victor Oladipo.

Golden State Warriors’ superstar Stephen Curry reminded the NBA of his capabilities on Sunday during the league’s slate of All-Star activities. Curry won the 3-point contest and scored 28 points in the highly anticipated matchup between Team LeBron and Team Durant.

Curry has been having an incredible season but the Warriors have obviously struggled without Klay Thompson. Injuries to the rest of the roster have stopped them from reaching their full potential this season but could Victor Oladipo be the solution to their problems?

According to reporting by The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor, Golden State is interested in acquiring Oladipo from the Rockets before the deadline.

Could Victor Oladipo end up on the Warriors this season?

The former Pacer was shipped to Houston as a part of the James Harden deal that would create the new Brooklyn Nets. His knee injury has made it an underwhelming season thus far. He is averaging 20 points per game but only shooting 38.7 percent from the field in 15 games. Still, Oladipo is a proven scorer, something that Golden State could obviously use for the rest of the season, given Thompson’s absence.

Golden State would not have the cap space to get involved in any moves this summer, so if they planned on making a move for Dipo, it should be right about now. Oladipo’s performance to this point in the season prevents Houston from demanding anything outrageous and he’s set to become an unrestricted free agent at the deadline.

Should the Warriors make a run at Oladipo? Is he the help that Curry and Draymond Greene need to push Golden State back into contention?
