With there set to be a massive group of superstars hitting free agency next offseason, the San Francisco Giants look ready to go after some big names out there.

While fans everywhere can’t wait for the 2021 MLB campaign to arrive, countless folks out there are already looking ahead to free agency. That’s because there will be several superstar sluggers who will hit free agency and figure to draw plenty of suitors.

According to MLB insider Jon Heyman, the San Francisco Giants will be among the clubs who will be ready to make some serious noise next winter and try to sign some of those standouts. So, which players should San Francisco fans keep an eye on?

The San Francisco Giants figure to be serious playmakers in free agency next winter

Per Heyman, the Giants will be monitoring Francisco Lindor, Trevor Story, Corey Seager, Carlos Correa and Javier Baez, among others, if they do indeed end up making their way to free agency.

While San Francisco won’t be able to land all of the guys mentioned above, the fanbase would no question be fired up if they could land even one of them. With Lindor, he just arrived to Queens and is getting ready for his first campaign with the New York Mets. Steve Cohen and Co. are hoping to sign him to a long-term deal, which very well could end up happening.

As for Baez, he also loves Chicago, but he’ll be looking for a mega-deal and it doesn’t seem likely the Cubs will be able to put the kind of money on the table he’d be hoping for. With that being said, the Giants are hoping to get back to their winning ways and want to make a run soon for another World Series. We’ll see who they can bring to town next year to help those dreams become a reality.
