3. Jaguars first-round draft targets – CB Jaycee Horn

The secondary has been a major concern in Jacksonville since they traded Ramsey away in the middle of the 2019 season. The Jaguars made a move to improve it last year by drafting C.J. Henderson in the first round and could look to double down on their corners by grabbing Horn at 25.

A 6-foot-1 corner out of South Carolina, Horn is an aggressive physical corner who isn’t afraid to tangle with opposing wide receivers. The son of former NFL wide receiver Joe Horn, Jaycee Horn notched two interceptions and six passes defensed in just seven games in 2020.

Having two young corners can be risky in the modern NFL but the upside of pairing Horn with Henderson is absolutely enormous. The Jaguars should still add a proven veteran to help teach the youngsters the ropes but if all goes well Jacksonville could have a shutdown tandem for the next five years.

There is a ton to like with Horn, who has the potential to develop into a true top cornerback. Being able to stop the pass in the modern NFL is huge so landing Horn at 25 would be a coup for the Jaguars.
