Running back. Kylin Hill. player. 53. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Mississippi State. 170

Hill never seemed to be on the same page with Mike Leach after he took over at Mississippi State, but the player’s collegiate production is too robust to ignore. The Browns should be interested in him as a potential third-down back who can help take pressure off Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

He doesn’t have explosive speed, but he’s got everything else pro teams are looking for in a No. 2 running back. Hill gets extra credit for his willingness as a pass protector. He may not play a lot early in Cleveland, but he’d give them a terrific insurance policy in Round 5.

211. player. 53. Pick Analysis. Tight end. Georgia. Tre' McKitty. Scouting Report

This may finally be the offseason when the Browns cash in on David Njoku in a trade. Landing McKitty late in the draft would give them a solid No. 3 tight end to develop. He lacks star potential due to his lack of elite athleticism, but he can turn into a solid two-way tight end with the proper coaching.

53. Pick Analysis. Ian Book. player. Scouting Report. Quarterback. Notre Dame. 258

Book doesn’t profile as anything more than an NFL backup, but he’s got intriguing athleticism. The Browns should take a look at him towards the Bottom of Round 7 as a potential long-term replacement for Case Keenum.
