1. Caleb Farley

Edge rusher is arguably the Raiders’ biggest position of need, but corner isn’t far behind. Damon Arnette struggled mightily during his rookie season. Trayvon Mullen was better, but he’s much better suited to be a No. 2 corner.

That leaves the door open for Vegas to nab Farley if he falls down to them at No. 21. Most mocks have him off the board by the time the Raiders make their selection, but a draft-day fall shouldn’t be ruled out for the former Virginia Tech star.

If that fall occurs the Raiders shouldn’t hesitate to put a stop to it. He’s got excellent size and coverage skills to thrive as an outside corner tasked with man-to-man coverage. His injury record should be a slight concern for teams, but he’s more than worth the risk anytime after the No. 15 overall pick.

Farley’s arrival in Las Vegas would help set up the rest of the secondary for success. Deploying him as the primary option would let Mullen get comfortable as the team’s No. 2. Arnette could turn into an above-average slot corner for Bradley’s defense. Farley falling this far would be a dream scenario for Gruden and his coaching staff.
