Any quarterback Washington deploys in 2021 can benefit from added protection from the team’s offensive line. In particular, left tackle was a real trouble spot for Rivera and his staff last season.

Landing Darrisaw in this draft would give Washington a quality answer to that area of concern. He needs to add strength to handle the behemoths he’ll need to neutralize at the next level, but his outstanding mobility gives him a high ceiling as a pass-blocker.

Unlike some other names on this list, Darrisaw does figure to be available when Washington goes on the clock. The decision on whether or not to select the former Virginia Tech star will likely depend on how the organization feels about their ability to add a starting wide receiver later in the draft.

If Washington does want to go for a tackle, Darrisaw can give them excellent value at No. 19. He may never become a star, but a solid starter at left tackle is hugely valuable in the modern NFL. Darrisaw won’t have to wait long if Washington passes on him.
