Following the Milwaukee Bucks’ win over the Philadelphia 76ers, Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated by eating a cheesesteak.

Wednesday night featured a battle of Eastern Conference juggernauts, as the Philadelphia 76ers faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks. The presence of star center Joel Embiid was sorely missed by the 76ers, as they fell to the Bucks 109-105 in overtime.

After the game, Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo decided to celebrate during his postgame press conference by eating a signature Philly cheesesteak, asking someone offscreen to hand over a steak with mustard and American cheese. That was when a reporter gave Antetokounmpo a lesson in how to order a cheesesteak in Philadelphia.

Bucks: Giannis’ big game brings an end to Philadelphia’s six-game winning streak

The term “whiz wit” means ordering a cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz and fried onions. So if you are not too fond of onions on the sandwich, you order it as “whiz witout.” We did the research for this lesson so you don’t have to.

Antetokounmpo earned the cheesesteak after the effort he put in to defeat the first-place 76ers. With the game tied at 98 points apiece with a little over three minutes remaining in overtime, Antetokounmpo helped the Bucks pull away with a layup, a 28-foot 3-pointer and a 19-foot step-back jumper.

In 43 minutes of playing time, Antetokounmpo scored 32 points on 13-of-22 shooting from the field, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out 5 assists. As for the 76ers, Tobias Harris led the way with19 points (8-for-23 shooting from the field), while also recording 9 rebounds and 2 steals.

Antetokounmpo exited Philadelphia not only with a win, but also with the knowledge of how to order a cheesesteak in the City of Brotherly Love.
