Dolphins cut Isaiah Wilson just 3 days after trading for him

Former Georgia Bulldog star Isaiah Wilson was released by the Miami Dolphins just days after being acquired in a trade.
Isaiah Wilson’s football journey has taken another unfortunate turn.
According to the Miami Herald, the Dolphins released Wilson on Saturday. This comes just days after the team announced it had officially traded for the offensive lineman at the start of the new league year.
Wilson will now be in search of his third team in less than a month.
Tennessee drafted Wilson in the first round last year, but he played only three snaps before the Titans ended his season due to off-field behavioral concerns. These incidents included an arrest on DUI charges as well as a trespassing warning from Tennessee state police, and attempting to jump off a second-story balcony to evade arrest.

According to the report in the Herald, Wilson recently posted videos to social media that showed him “inhaling a vape and dancing shirtless on a car.” It seems those videos came to light after the Dolphins had made the decision to move on.
NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero gave more specific details of incidents that led to the Dolphins’ decision to cut Wilson this weekend.

Team tried to support him, but now moving on.
The Dolphins cutting Wilson doesn’t do much damage from a front-office standpoint. Miami sent a 2021 seventh-round pick to the Titans in exchange for Wilson and a 2022 seventh-rounder, so cutting him less expensive than the shock value implies.
