1. Elijah Moore

Moore isn’t a lock to hear his name called in Round 1, but landing with the Packers would be a great stroke of luck for the former Ole Miss wideout. He’s another slot prospect that could really take pressure off of Rodgers and Adams in 2021.

At the end of the day, it’s hard to see the Packers eschewing the need to select a wideout in Round 1 unless a big-name prospect falls to them at No. 29. Moore isn’t the biggest name prospect in his position group, but no one can argue with his outstanding production at Ole Miss last season.

At 5-foot-9 it’s hard to imagine an NFL future for him on the outside, but he did show a diverse ability to run routes for the Rebels. His standout skill is his ability to use his speed to make big plays. In college, that manifested itself on both short screens and deep catches over the top of opposing secondaries.

Moore is still relatively raw as a route-runner, but he can get a Ph.D. in that course for Green Bay. It might take him a little time to gel with Rodgers, but the benefits could be significant for the Packers’ offense by the time the postseason rolls around. That makes him a strong value at the tail end of Round 1.
