The Packers can also make Rodgers’ life easier by giving him a tight end capable of turning into a dynamic pass-catcher. With all due respect to Robert Tonyan, Green Bay can really benefit from a boost in athleticism at the tight end position.

Jordan isn’t going to give the Packers a ton of production as an in-line blocker, but his intriguing blend of size and athleticism makes him a potential impact receiver at the next level. His ability to produce yards after contact at Miami could be particularly helpful for the Packers’ offense if it translates to the pros.

At worst, Jordan can help the Packers right away as a tight end who can flex out into the slot on obvious passing situations. He’s not a finished product as a route-runner, but Rodgers is a quarterback who can help throw him open even when his routes aren’t razor-sharp.

It might take Jordan a few weeks to gain his quarterback’s trust, but it’s easy to envision a scenario where he turns into an impact target for Rodgers down the stretch. Landing that sort of ceiling in Round 3 would be a win for Green Bay.
