The player’s talent has never been in question. His impressive array of pitches powered him to an 18-win season back in 2018. He’s got a real chance to better that mark in 2021 if he can exorcise the demons that almost cost him his career in pinstripes.

German can save the bullpen from being overextended while also helping win the vast majority of his starts with a sub 4.00 ERA if he pitches to his full potential.
