1. T.Y Hilton

Hilton represents a nice compromise between the safety of Amendola and the upside of Brown. Injuries have hampered his production in recent years, but he’s still just 31-years-old. It’s reasonable to think he can thrive being the No. 2 or No. 3 option in Kansas City.

The former Colts star isn’t the deep threat he was during his prime, but he makes up for his lack of elite speed by having some of the best hands in the NFL. He simply doesn’t drop balls when they’re thrown his way. That’s a quality that can potentially endear him to Mahomes.

He’s another guy who can really make opposing secondaries pay when they drop their coverage too deep to adequately cover the middle of the field. It’s easy to envision a scenario where he tortures Kansas City opponents by catching a myriad of slants and inside digs for 10-15 yards a pop.

Hilton is probably the most expensive signing on this list, but the investment could really pay off for the Chiefs. They should be careful not to overcommit to Hilton in terms of years, but a two to three-year pact at decent money could help Kansas City win another Super Bowl or two.
