12. player. 41. . Wing. Golden State Warriors. Moses Moody

In this Tankathon simulation, the Timberwolves’ pick conveys to the Warriors, giving Golden State two first-round picks and perhaps increasing the likelihood that they swing a win-now deal to chase a title. But assuming they end up keeping the picks they’ll probably be looking for wing depth with the shooting ability and defensive upside to potentially fill a role next season.

Moody projects as a 3-and-D specialist with good size on the wing, solid defensive instincts and a developed profile as a shooter, both off the dribble and off movement. However, he’s also shown considerable upside as a slasher and secondary creator this season averaging 19.9 points and 6.9 free throw attempts per 40 minutes. A 3-and-D-plus wing may not be that exciting for Warriors fans but it’s an archetype that could help next season and Moody has the upside to be an interesting piece for future iterations of this team.
