2021 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Chicago Bulls leap up the lottery, land their next big star
By Ian Levy
The Pacers’ season has rapidly cratered. There’s now a good chance they miss the playoffs and end up in the lottery and, if rumors are to be believed, may have been shopping Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner and Malcolm Brogdon at the deadline. But they didn’t make a trade, they still have relative youth, flexibility and talent going into next season, Caris LeVert is healthy and a lottery pick would give them a chance to add a high-upside piece for the long- and short-term.
Dashien Nix hasn’t finished or shot the ball particularly well with the G League Ignite team but he’s a point guard with great strength, size (6-foot-5) and vision who knows how to make use of what he does well — averaging 6.0 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. Nix could eventually make a solid second-unit backcourt partner for Aaron Holiday and his undersized shooting.
