3. Hunter Henry will lead the Patriots in catches

Landing Henry in free agency is arguably the biggest move of the offseason for New England. He was clearly the best tight end available and the position was a huge area of need for the Patriots.

Henry isn’t the most dynamic pass-catcher in the league, but he’s just the sort of two-way tight end Belichick loves to employ. That versatility will keep Henry on the field for a ton of snaps in 2021.

That, combined with New England’s lack of talent at wide receiver position Henry to become Newton’s favorite weapon. He might not lead the Patriots in receiving yards, but he should catch more balls than anyone else on the roster.

Patriots fans shouldn’t overlook how Newton’s questionable ability to push the ball down the field will factor into this prediction. He may need to learn on a safety blanket like Henry more than most other starting quarterbacks in the league. Henry’s going to disguise a ton of Newton’s weaknesses in 2021.
