Browns predictions, Odell Beckham

2. Odell Beckham will catch 100+ passes

The Browns get extra credit for succeeding largely without Beckham’s help in 2020. The offense seemed to flourish without him. His reintegration into the attack will be one of Stefanski’s biggest challenges this year.

The organization might have flirted with dealing Beckham during the offseason, but his upside on the field is still significant. If he manages to stay healthy for a full 16-game slate, he should reclaim his spot as the team’s No. 1 receiver. If that happens, look for Beckham to catch 100+ passes and be named the NFL’s Comeback Player of the Year.

Part of the prediction here is that Beckham will realize he needs a super productive year to reestablish his value around the league. Even if the wideout is as selfish as some fans claim, he still should see that it’s in his best interest to be a good soldier in 2021.

Beckham may never regain the speed that made him such a dynamic deep threat earlier in his career, but he still has more than enough juice to create separation on short and intermediate throws. Look for he and Mayfield to mend their relationship and put up big numbers this season.
