WWE WrestleMania 37: Day 1 live stream, match card, and more

Here is everything you need to know for Day 1 of WrestleMania 37, which returns to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL.

Last year, WWE WrestleMania was scheduled to take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. But thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, plans changed and the event was split into two nights at their Performance Center. This year, they finally get to return to a stadium venue for the biggest night of the year. As with last year, it’s a two-night extravaganza, so let’s run down what is on the menu for the opening night.

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve gotten a glimpse at how the card will be broken up. Unlike last year’s unprecedented empty-arena event, there is a basic idea of the schedule of matches. Here’s what we know so far.

• SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Bianca Belair
• WWE Championship Match: Bobby Lashley (c) vs. Drew McIntyre
• Raw Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. AJ Styles & Omos
• Steel Cage Match: Braun Strowman vs. Shane McMahon
• Tag Team Turmoil Match: The Riott Squad vs. Lana & Naomi vs. Dana Brooke & Mandy Rose vs. Natalya & Tamina Snuka
• Bad Bunny & Damien Priest vs. The Miz & John Morrison
• Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins

This is going to be a monumental weekend for WWE. This will the first time in over a year that they will have a large crowd expected to be in attendance, with an estimated 25,000 people ready to be on hand. It will be similar to the Super Bowl, when it was held at Raymond James Stadium earlier this year. Free masks will be available at the door, social distancing will be in effect, and health and safety protocols will be taken as well.

Looking at the weather forecast for WrestleMania, some rain has the possibility of falling. So it will be interesting to see how WWE addresses that if any weather gets severe.
