1. Darren Waller will catch 125+ passes

All of the Raiders’ uncertainty at wide receiver is bad news for the offense as a unit, but it’s good for their star tight end’s individual production. Waller is in line to put up video game numbers as Carr’s top pass-catcher.

He led the team with 107 catches for 1,196 yards and nine touchdowns a season ago. That might make some fans believe he’s a prime candidate for regression in 2021.

This bold prediction doubles down on Waller’s ability to become a true superstar. He’s got the perfect combination of size, speed, and length to become arguably the top tight end in the entire NFL. Gruden’s offense has the ability to feature a player with that kind of talent.

Waller is going to get a lot of attention from opposing secondaries, but the Raiders will still force-feed him the ball if necessary. His yardage and touchdown totals might drop as a result, but he’s going to get the ball in his hands even more. Put him down for at least 125 catches if he can stay healthy.
