1. Kenny Golladay will go for more than 1,500 receiving yards

The Giants had to pay a big premium to win the free agency battle for Golladay, but the transaction does dramatically raise New York’s offensive ceiling. He gives the coaching staff a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver who can threaten opposing secondaries down the field on a regular basis.

The end result should be a career season for the 27-year-old wide receiver. His previous career-high in receiving yards is 1,190 but he’ll blow past that total as the Giants’ unquestioned No. 1 option. Look for the former Lion to blow past the 1,500-yard mark if he can stay healthy.

The only real question about Golladay’s fit in New York is whether or not there’s enough talent surrounding him in the receiving room to stop him from being double-teamed on every snap. Darius Slayton and John Ross can help in that regard, but look for the Giants to add a rookie pass-catcher capable of really rounding out the room in April’s draft.

New York needs Golladay to play like an All-Pro to lift their offensive out of the doldrums. He has the talent to make that happen. If he and Jones can get on the same page it could be a fun offensive year in the Big Apple.
