2. Add a depth wide receiver

As of today, both Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry will be on the roster for 2021. After that, who’s to say if either will be around much longer.

Peoples-Jones did his job in a limited role, but his upside is likely a No. 3 receiver. Rashard Higgins is back on a one-year deal, so he could earn a multi-year extension in 2022. Sure, receiver isn’t a necessity, but if there’s one on Day 3 that makes sense, why not go for it.

If the Browns want a vertical option with speed, North Texas’ Jaelon Darden could be a gem. If looking for more size, Illinois’ Josh Imatorbhebhe might be the draft day steal. It’s all about adding  a player for the future, so while the Browns shouldn’t target a receiver early, that shouldn’t stop them from adding one altogether.
