2. Chicago Bears breakout stars – WR Anthony Miller

A popular sleeper target in fantasy football circles, it feels like the world has been waiting for Anthony Miller to break out. A second-round pick in 2018, Miller has showcased some big-play ability out of the slot but hasn’t been able to master the art of consistency.

2020 was a typical year out of Miller, who had only 33 catches but still racked up 423 yards to go with a career-high seven touchdowns. Miller averaged 12.8 yards per reception, another career-high, showcasing that there is still breakout potential if the Bears can utilize him properly.

This season is very important for Miller, who is entering his walk-year and needs to produce more to get paid. Chicago also needs to find a way to force the ball into Miller’s hands more often since good things happen when he touches it.

Getting better quarterback play would help Miller along with a more concerted effort from the Bears to draw up plays that create mismatches for him in the slot. Miller has the feel of a post-hype breakout candidate that fantasy football players love to exploit in drafts and the Bears may reap the benefits of a huge performance boost from him in 2021.
