Ohio State football was bullish on the Chicago Bears taking Justin Fields in the first round of the NFL Draft, celebrating the pick with an awesome tweet.

Justin Fields dropped as expected in the NFL Draft, waiting until pick No. 11 to hear his name called.

The Bears traded up to go get their new quarterback and Ohio State couldn’t wait to assure them they’d made the right choice.

It didn’t take many words to do it: “ELITE PICK. You won’t regret it.”

Here’s what it looked like when the pick was announced.

Ohio State believes in Justin Fields and so should the Bears

Ohio State’s Twitter account has been fighting the good fight for Fields throughout draft day.

Fields didn’t go in the Top 10 like he would have wanted, but he’ll be able to use that chip on his shoulder to prove those 10 teams wrong for passing him up.

First off, he’ll have to win over the starting job from Andy Dalton, who signed with Chicago as a free agent.

Worst comes to worst, he’ll spend some time developing before making his mark on the league.
