For those wondering where the 147th Kentucky Derby will air on Saturday, May 1, we have you covered.

The world is returning to some semblance of normalcy in 2021, as the 147th Kentucky Derby kicks off the first leg of the Triple Crown this Saturday, May 1. Last year’s schedule was drastically altered due to the coronavirus pandemic, with the Kentucky Derby taking place in early September as the second portion the Triple Crown.

With the Kentucky Derby just hours away, we are sure you are wondering one simple question — where is the race being broadcasted? We have you covered.

How to stream Kentucky Derby 2021

With the emergence of NBC’s streaming service, Peacock, many were wondering if the event would be exclusively broadcasted from the app. That is not the case, as the horse race will air nationally on NBC at 6:57 p.m. ET on Saturday. The Kentucky Derby will stream on NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app.

Last year, the 146th edition of the Kentucky Derby was held without fans in attendance and saw Authentic win the race over favorite Tiz the Law, who won the Belmont Stakes to kick off the Triple Crown.

The favorite entering the big race is Essential Quality, who holds 2-1 odds as of this writing. You can look at the full leaderboard and betting odds on the Kentucky Derby’s official website.

So there you have it. Be sure to tune in to NBC to watch the first big horse race of the year.
