The Brooklyn Nets remain one of the favorites to win the 2021 NBA championship for several clear reasons.

The Brooklyn Nets enter the final week of the regular season just trying to get healthy. James Harden is expected back at some point as the team looks to hold onto the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

The Nets have been title favorites since the moment James Harden was traded to Brooklyn. Several other factors come into play as well when predicting why the Nets can indeed win it all.

5. Joe Harris and other shooters make you pay

One strategy to stop the Nets may be double-teaming Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Of course, it is not possible when all three are on the floor. But one of them is going to command extra attention at all times.

Focusing all the defensive attention on the top three guys allows Joe Harris and other role players to let it rip from deep. Harris leads the team in made 3-pointers per game and is shooting a blistering 47.8 percent from deep. Jeff Green (39.8 percent) can more than hold his own as well, and even Blake Griffin (40 percent) made four 3-pointers in the Nets’ last game.

Harris is the top shooter outside of the main three stars to focus on. But it is simply not possible to give him a top defender if Harden (36.1 percent), Irving (39.4 percent) and Durant (46.9 percent) are all on the floor at the same time.

That is why the Nets are so hard to stop. Harris could easily get 20 points just from kick-out passes thrown his way as he waits behind the arc.
