7. Los Angeles Rams at Seattle Seahawks

Division rivalries produce some of the best games in the NFL and the NFC West is poised for an incredible year. The NFC West is stacked from top to bottom, making any of its divisional showdowns must-see TV, but the top option to check out is the Rams’ trip to Seattle to take on the Seahawks.

These teams met three times in 2020, culminating in a playoff win at Lumen Field for Los Angeles, and each contest was a tight one. There is also an intriguing new element to this rivalry thanks to the Rams’ trade for Matthew Stafford, who gives Sean McVay’s team a massive upgrade at quarterback as they try to win a Super Bowl.

The big difference between the meetings with these teams in 2020 and 2021 is the greater presence of fans in the stadium, which should have a massive impact in Seattle. The absence of the 12th man clearly hurt the Seahawks’ home-field advantage in the postseason, a factor that undoubtedly played a part in Seattle’s playoff loss to Los Angeles.

Getting the fans back into this game and seeing the quarterback duel between Stafford and Russell Wilson will be worth the price of admission. This contest could also play a key role in determining who wins the NFC West so it will be extremely important for the balance of power in the NFC.
