1. Vs. Green Bay Packers

Talking about the wild card picture is nice but the easiest way for the Bears to make the playoffs is to win the NFC North. Chicago looks to be the second-best team on paper right now, making their games against the Green Bay Packers the most important ones on the schedule.

Green Bay swept the season series in 2020 and has owned the Bears of late, going 19-4 against Chicago since the 2010 season, including a 10-2 record at Soldier Field. The Bears have actually lost 10 of their past 11 home meetings against the Packers as well dating back to the 2010 NFC Championship Game when Green Bay upset Chicago on its way to a Super Bowl title.

Re-establishing some kind of home-field advantage against the Packers is very important for Chicago, which can’t afford to get swept by Green Bay if it hopes to win the NFC North. The key to this game will be finding a way to slow down reigning NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers, who lit up the Bears’ defense for four touchdowns in a 35-16 win at Soldier Field in Week 17.

There is no question that the Bears’ only path to the NFC North title comes by toppling the Packers at least once. Winning at home is far easier than winning on the road in the NFL so finding a way to beat Green Bay at Soldier Field is the most important game that Chicago has to win this season.
