3. At Baltimore Ravens

Sometimes a must-win game comes in the form of an opportunity to make a key statement. That is the case for Green Bay’s toughest AFC matchup, which will be a trip to M&T Bank Stadium to take on the Baltimore Ravens.

The game will be a showcase of the last two NFL MVPs as Rodgers squares off with Lamar Jackson for the first time. Jackson’s ability to extend plays from outside the pocket can be problematic for the Packers’ defense, which hasn’t had to take on many mobile quarterbacks in its division.

Baltimore also is one of the best power-running teams in the league, an area that Green Bay has struggled with at times in recent years. Finding a way to slow down the Ravens’ rushing attack would be a good sign that Green Bay has worked on fixing one of its biggest flaws.

Finding ways to win huge road games is also the sign of a champion, something that should gain more importance as the presumptive return of fans at a fuller capacity in the fall should lead to true home-field advantages once again. If the Packers can take care of the Ravens in Baltimore it will be a very encouraging development for Green Bay’s Super Bowl hopes.
