3) vs. Washington Football Team

The Washington Football Team are the reigning NFC East champions, and the team the NY Giants must overtake, if they hope to steal that crown.

Washington boasts one of the most dominant front-sevens in the NFL, that got even more stout during the NFL Draft earlier this month. Chase Young, and Co. will present one of the more daunting challenges the NY Giants’ offensive line will face this season.

Fortunately for the NY Giants, Washington has struggled mightily against New York in recent years. The NY Giants have won five straight and seven of eight against their NFC East rivals. If Jones makes the strides the NY Giants hope, this will be a lopsided quarterback matchup, against wily veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Beating Washington will be a bit more challenging than in recent seasons, especially after the Football Team added wide receiver Curtis Samuel to an offensive arsenal that already included Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson.

The Giants haven’t made the postseason since 2016 and they will need to continue their dominance against Washington if they are going to end that drought.
