Game of the WeekPackers at Ravens

For the first time, we get Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson playing against each other. Maybe we have a part two in the Super Bowl? One can dream.

For both these teams, 2021 is really about righting old wrongs. The Packers have been to the NFC title game each of the past two seasons but have failed to get the job done, losing to the San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Meanwhile, Baltimore has been an AFC power for each of Jackson’s three seasons but has a single postseason win over that span, having beat the Tennessee Titans in the AFC Wild Card round last year.

Watching these teams clash will be fun both for the quarterbacks and the style of play. Green Bay likes to run more than some think, handing off to Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon. However, the Packers are most dangerous when Rodgers is slinging the ball to Davante Adams and Co.

Baltimore is the polar opposite, pounding the ball at every chance with Gus Edwards and J.K. Dobbins, alongside Jackson’s elite option game. It’ll be fascinating to see the contrasting styles play out against each other for the first time.
