Winner: Florida

The Gators brought in four players while losing four to the portal.

Additions:

  • Brandon McKissic SG from Kansas City: 17.2 points, 3.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists/game.
  • CJ Felder SF from Boston College: 9.7 points and 5.9 rebounds/game.
  • Philandrous Fleming Jr SG from Charleston Southern: 20.1 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists/game.
  • Myreon Jones SG from Penn State: 15.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2 assists/game.

Losses:

  • Noah Locke SG to Louisville: 10.6 points and 2.4 rebounds/game.
  • Omar Payne PF to Illinois: 3.8 points and 3.2 rebounds/game.
  • Ques Glover PG to Samford: 2.5 points/game.
  • Osayi Osifo PF to Jacksonville: 1.9 points and 2.6 rebounds/game.

Analysis:

McKissic is the big get for the Gators and will step into their starting lineup. He not only fills the stat sheet but was named to the WAC All-Defensive team each of the last two seasons.

Fleming will also start, something he did 86 of the 101 games he played for Charleston, including 49 of the last 50.

Jones will contribute from behind the arc, hitting 40 percent of his 3-point attempts last year.

Locke is the one big loss, having started 79 games for the Gators.
