2. Week 8 at Cardinals

The lead-up to this early season matchup will be the idea that Kyler Murray is trying to join the upper echelon of NFL quarterbacks by outdueling Rodgers. It’s very possible the hype for Arizona came a season too soon. Don’t be surprised if they turn into a legitimate playoff team in 2021.

They also happen to represent a nightmare matchup for Green Bay’s defense. Secondary quality and depth is a major issue for the Packers. The Cardinals are going to work hard to spread the ball around to multiple receivers in 2021. That gives them a chance to really pick on the weakest cornerback Green Bay deploys in this game.

Arizona’s upgraded pass rush could also cause some problems for the packers. If J.J. Watt stays healthy he’ll present a stern challenge for Green Bay’s offensive front. Chandler Jones also projects as a double-digit sack artist for the Cardinals.

Green Bay should have enough roster talent to overcome the upstart Cardinals, but if this game devolves into a track meet then anything can happen. The Packers must make sure they don’t allow this game to turn into a coming-out party for Murray and his offense.
